Looking back on last year
In 2024, the proceeds from Koek & Zopie 't Kaarsje went to ExpEx Midden-Holland, a project run by Stichting KernKracht. ExpEx is committed to working with and for young people by offering a safe place for experts by experience and organising activities such as experience cafés. Thanks to all the visitors and volunteers, we were able to hand over a wonderful amount of €750,- last year. We are extremely grateful for this! 🙏
This year, we hope to raise another nice amount for a new charity.

Stichting Present Gouda
Present Gouda builds bridges between people who want to help and people who need help. They focus on people with a small network, little money or limited health.
Present organises practical projects (such as painting, gardening or moving house) and social projects (such as music evenings or walks with the elderly). Volunteers always work in groups on one-off projects, offering a helping hand.
By working together with social organisations, Present ensures that help goes where it is needed. Volunteers choose a project, plan a date, and receive guidance from Present during the implementation. In this way, Present promotes a society in which people naturally look out for each other.

Certainly! We also offer vegetarian dishes, and some options are halal. This is clearly indicated on the menu. -
Do I need to make a reservation?
No, you can just walk in. There is plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your meal or take something tasty with you. -
What time do you close?
We are open from 4.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. -
Where do the proceeds go?

Can I just pick something up to take away?
Yes, you can. You are welcome to take something tasty home with you or to the rest of the city. -

Absolutely, everyone is welcome! Young and old. -
