ExpEx Midden-Holland is one of KernKracht foundation's projects. ExpEx are young people with experience between 18 and 32 years old, who volunteer to make youth care a little nicer. To this end, they have followed a training course, given by KernKracht, in which they learned to use their own experience. As such, they act as experience buddy, provide information and advice and organise experience cafes.

The Experience Café is the place where young people feel safe and can be themselves. Here, you can meet other young people and share your experiences with fellow sufferers and experience experts. Together is the key word here; like cooking together, eating together, making and listening to music together, playing games together, but especially being together. The activities are shaped by the wishes and needs of the young people themselves. We organise Experience cafés for young people aged between 16 and 30, in all five municipalities of Midden-Holland. For young people aged 11 to 15, we organise an Experience Café in Gouda twice a month.
